CEO – Julienne Lewis

Julienne Lewis has been the face of the BGRF for more than a decade and has focused on growing the Foundation’s standing in the medical research community. Her background is in communications and public affairs in the Victorian Public Service, including community services, health and the Environment Protection Authority. Her priority has been to promote the achievements of grant recipients and winners of the Foundation’s medal and Emerging Researcher prize to give researchers a boost and encouragement in a difficult environment. Determined to maximise funding for research, Julienne has also focused on streamlining processes to minimise administration requirements. Julienne has a Bachelor of Arts from Monash University.
